Jasa Merin Labuan (JML) has conducted a CSR event entitled “CSR Program: Back To School”, on the 9th of March 2023 at Sekolah Rendah Islam Integrasi Ilmi. The initiative is one of the cores of the company’s corporate social responsibility to care for the communities that need help. The school was built in 1993 in Ampang, Selangor, having approximately 670 students today. During the event, uniforms, shoes and other forms of donation were given to selected students, in order to assist them in obtaining necessary school needs. The event has shown us the importance of contributing to societal goals and giving back to the community within our own capabilities. We hope that this donation will encourage the students to start school with excellence thus improving their academic as well as co-curricular performance.
