17 of our staff from Marine & General Berhad (M&G) and Jasa Merin Labuan (JML) attended a 2-day theoretical and hands-on training session where they learned Basic First Aid procedures. These procedures act as initial help that is delivered to the sick and injured by the first responder before the arrival of healthcare personnel. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) are the key elements of Basic Life Support (BLS), and may determine the difference between life and death. Our staff members learned a lot of new skills that can potentially be useful to those around us.
