As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Jasa Merin has recently distributed zakat contributions to the needy. These donations were made possible through zakat deductions from Jasa Merin Malaysia staff, obtained from Majlis Agama Islam Dan Adat Melayu Terengganu (MAIDAM). From the RM 340,000.00 zakat contribution for the year 2022/2023, RM 86,400.00 was distributed to 101 deserving families surrounding Kemaman identified by MAIDAM. Through the initiative provided by MAIDAM, corporate organizations could together help ease the burden of the community with the increase in the cost of living.
