In conjunction with JM ESG Awareness Day, we have launched a “JM Clothes & Shoes Recycling Drive” campaign which was held for two (2) weeks from 17th – 31st October 2023. During the campaign period, we have invited Miss Adelyn from Kloth Circularity | Malaysia | Singapore, to learn how we can further reduce our carbon footprint. We also invited Mr Fadly from EcoKnights to share with us how we can contribute by recycling our old shoes. He explained the process after the collection of old shoes, it will then be repurposed into granules that will be used to build environmentally friendly playgrounds or sports surfaces. At the end of the campaign period, we manage to collect 68.9kg of "old shoes" and approximately "a van full of clothing" away from the landfills!
